Many people have created a complete separate sub-style for bands equivalent to these, which they'd call «emo.» This is what created the rise of the emo scene throughout this time, where many teenagers young individuals would wear largely black and have a miserable tone to them (afterward this scene would evolve into what we name «scene» at present the place instead of largely black, they'd incorporate many vibrant colors and loopy hairstyles). Lots of people didn't admire these bands being known as emo. Whichever way people wanted to chop it, these bands might be seeing touring with many pop-punk bands frequently because of their similarity, and would trigger a little bit of confusion.
